I had some hyperpigmentation roughly a few shades darker than my normal skin tone from using an epilator, it's been a few months since I started using vit C daily and it's a little lighter now. Also use it with sunscreen since vit C enhances it. It does smell weird like all vit C does, but the smell doesn't stay on your skin. I store it in the fridge tightly closed. It helps with aging and skin brightening too, so I'd make sure to be consistent and use a little (I use 2 drops for my face).
